Stop tweaking Cass every patch

Just give the cowboy the range buff needed, and forget this character exists and don’t touch him anymore. His grenade will be forever bad and just exists for the sake of existing. He is all about his gun accuracy. Go tweak heroes like Sym and other forgotten heroes that need much more help and buffs/micro buffs.

Headshot someone 4-5 times in a row and that mf is still half HP. Great. I hope Season 2-3 Cass come back.

Sucks but that’s why you gotta hold the W key. Cass is probably the best close to mid range dps in the game

The average tank even after armor nerfs is a little too scary to be that close

No not really, only Dva is. Cass with like a Brig, Juno or Ana pocket is not dying to most tanks.

20m is a good enough range to work with

But armor nerfs have made Soldier decent against armor again so I’ll probably just play him on longer ranged maps

His bullet size is still ridiculous, especially considering his fire rate and damage. No thanks…

Nah Cass is still my most played by a lot. Only have like 2 hours on Reaper but he still shows up as 2nd on the leaderboard

I wont lie the first time I got hit by the new flash and headshot combo I did a double take at how high the damage is.

Flashbang hs melee near instakills 250 hpheroes.

This breakpoint is definitely nice to have but not something you’re gonna see a lot in a real game

It’s just way better at finishing off a deflecting Genji, 250 hp heroes are rarely gonna be in melee range

It’s really good against 225 health heroes tho, flash + headshot does 215 damage.

he can have better falloff range if he 225 hp, but that probably beat his purpose for anti flanker

if he needs any buff, they should revert and give old ow1 flashbang

I think close range Cassidy is the way he’s intended to be, and it’s strong. But he also doesn’t have a lot to deal with tanks up close at all, but not other squishier… so he feels like total **** to play AGAINST when he’s got range, and total **** to play AS when he’s locked into being (the best) close range hero, because he still literally can’t do anything against a tank with a brain up close (at least not since they severely nerfed fan the hammer)

Low key Cassidy is desperate for a rework to his fan the hammer. A whole new ability is what he needs, something to solidify him as close/mid hitscan, but it needs to be something to help him in the tank matchup survival or pressure wise, not a kill button.

Lasso? Locks enemy in place or something?

Or here’s a fun one- a skill shot lasso grappling thing where he uses the enemy as an anchor to do a leap, and you can combine it with roll for some great fancy distance (think sorta pathfinder from apex if anyone has played him)

So Cassidy can use the enemy (easiest being the tank) as a way to reposition himself, but he has to stay close enough to deal useful damage without letting himself get caught defenseless against the tank or out in the open against the enemy team in general. Oh and it would be fun af.
