How are you gonna reduce health for Hanzo and in the same breath compare him to the only sniper in the game that can one shot, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Did I just read that???
Developer Comment: Hanzo doesn’t quite fit the category of being as highly mobile as the other heroes we’re moving to 225 HP, but like Widowmaker, has the potential long-range lethality merits, as he is now able to one-shot the 225 HP heroes. It’s also nice for the Hanzo mirror match to be more decisive as well.
Base health reduced from 250 to 225.
SO BECAUSE HE CAN NOW ONE SHOT 14-20% of the roaster you nerf his health??? just give him is one shot back FFS. There is no reason why the hit scan hero gets the one shot when she can easily follow up a head-shot, while if you don’t have storm arrow you might as well give up on that Elimination; a little tangent why are you even playing with the idea of balancing heroes because of mirror matches? are you going to take widows one shot because it’s to oppressive on mirror matches?

Hanzo changes are a trade-off for sure.
New Hanzo is much better for those who click heads, and quite worse for people who can’t aim.
I would say it’s a buff for high ranks and a nerf for middle and low ranks

If Hanzo is going to get his one shot back that he shouldnt have, then he needs some sort of nerf as well. Why is he not even classified as a mobility hero anyways? He can dash and climb up walls to like Kiri.
Hanzo does not need 1 shot to be viable, the last few season have proven that.
Also as for reducing his health it makes sence, while he cant 1 shot as many as widow can, he doesnt have as low as health as widow does.
If you want hanzo to be this 1 shoting sniper he also needs the weaknesses of that.

I’ve seen pro hanzos use him as a melee range burst character, this shouldn’t be happening. Hanzo should always be at a distance.
He does need HP though, especially when you have heroes like Cassidy with 275hp.
Hanzo has the worst of both worlds at the moment. He can’t consistently 1-shot most heroes, while also have HP pool lower than most heroes.
Give me one or the other but seriously, Hp nerfs are one of the most severe nerfs you can give a hero (especially one without any escape abilities)

Hanzo can now 1 shot 8 more heroes
Hanzo can also two tap body shot those 8 heroes now
Hanzo can also now 2 tap headshot/bodyshot kill those 8 heroes with storm arrows which is practically instant
And people are losing their minds over losing 25hp?
He gained A LOT more kill potential against a significant portion of the roster, especially considering 5 of the 8 characters who got nerfed to 225hp are supports. Killing supports wins fights

Exactly people love reading patch notes in a vacuum. (adding in with all the Juno and Kiri going on this makes me want to play some Hanzo and just laugh as they die in one shot)
