Yes I can fade but the second I do, that is 8 seconds of him having free reign over smacking me against a wall during a team fight with his tiny 4 second RP.

Moira can survive against Doomfist. Under specific circumstances.

Under specific circumstances, Mei is the best sniper in the game. Under specific circumstances, 2/2/2 is the best composition in the game;

Everything in any game that involves other human beings, involves situations that rely on specific circumstances. Also just… not to be that person but;

Why are you 1v1ing Doomfist as Moira?

He forces her to use fade with Rocket punch all the time, then finishes her off with slam>uppercut. Alternatively, he can use his ult after baiting fade.
She is harder to kill than Zen and Ana (unless she saves sleep for him at all times)
But she does absolutely no damage against him. What little damage she does gets restored with overshields.

There’s not a single support that can do much against him.
Lucio can work, and Mercy definitely works. But…

Then he gets shield health after literally hitting someone with any of his abilities. Her damage doesn’t do jack against that

You need to stop, you make a new complaint every day. Maybe learn to be better at Moira, instead of taking it to the forums. I didn’t mean that in a harsh way; you can always learn to be better. I myself never ever EVER have problems with Doomfist as Moira.

I want to agree with you because I too dislike Doomfist but there’s actually little to no reason that a Doomfist should be able to catch and kill a Moira unless you’re hit by an unfortunate Rocket Punch into a wall and OHKO’d.

Fade, life drain and proper positioning/bouncing orbs will allow you to survive his other combos or outright escape him.

Against a professional Moira, a Doomfist will have to blow all of their cooldowns just for a chance at killing Moira. She’s technically the only support capable of this.

Same here actually.

Even sometime when I play Doomfist a good Moira can throw me off with chip damage.

This is coming from a Doomfist main, she survive against Doomfist like every time. If you get yourself all alone with Doomfist and he beats u, then that all on u. If Doomfist tries to chase you after you have used fade, then that’s a sign that says Doomfist wants to get himself killed.

Because a lot of times Doomfist brings the 1v1 to you and whether or not it turns in to a 6v1 or anywhere in between depends on if your teammates respond to your pleas for help.

That said, I don’t typically have a problem with him cause the fade + orb can usually scare him off.

So another words… in…

Specific circumstances.

See how that works? If a Doomfist has successfully, somehow… 1v6’d your team without any assistance from his team, and your team mates allowed this to occur - you being unable to 1v1 him as Moira is the absolute LEAST of your concerns.

All I’m saying is by Doomfist nature you don’t typically get to choose when you engage in that 1v1 with him. So asking someone why they would be 1v1ning a Doomfist as Moira doesn’t really help because most of the time Doom chose that engagement it’s not like the Moira was the one to seek it out.

Doomfist is a diver, so yes to an extent that is absolutely true. Most good Doomfists will make sure that YOU (their target, regardless of your character) do not get to choose the engagement. True.

However, this is in and of itself also an argument that can be applied to literally every hero in the game. Tracer will do her level best to make sure she engages on her terms. As will Genji.

As will Reaper. Widowmaker. Hanzo. Etc etc. Yes Doomfist has mobility, and yeah if he catches you between a wall and his… well… fist, odds are you’re gonna stare at the respawn screen.

But in general unless you’re playing against one of those wizard Doomfists in Grandmasters being played by someone who plays Overwatch 22 hours a day and spends the other 2 hours planning how to play Overwatch - you will not be in a situation where he can consistently solo you out.

Again, unless, your team is just not working together whatsoever. Which would be classified as a specific circumstance.

Wow a dps hero can bait out a escape then pop ult to get a kill, so op. Genji can also dash into a Moira to bait fade then use dragonblade. I can shoot a rocket at her to bait fade then solo barrage a Moira, pls nerf.
