What is the idea behind throwing 5 random players against 4-5 coordinated players into a match. Regardless of if it’s quickplay or comp, this is just stupid. It’s a prevalent problem in mid to high MMR. When I’m playing with my friends it almost gets boring because we keep steamrolling solo queueing enemy teams, like literally spawncamping them. If I’m queueing solo like 7 times out of 10 it’s the enemy team having a stack, sweating it out and syinergizing almost perfectly. terrible idea to let that happen. Bring back looking for a group and show us more to encourage players to stack up to play. Not everyone has time to solo queue and play 30 games a day to have 5 quality games.
this has been going on forever and needs to END.
Suffer as I have (team mate in back) Die Die Die!
If I’m facing a stack wich dominates us hard (i’m 96% solo player) 2+ times in a row - i just leave
Few times in a row the same group? I’ll leave them all I don’t care
I talked about this the other day, it’s unreal that it keeps happening. We just want an opt-out button or to stop putting solo q against full stacks altogether
There’s not enough players to do anything about it.
according to blizzard “millions” play their game. So I dont think its a problem. If they said 20 or 30 thousand people play their game then maybe I could see it being a problem.
But remember, its their words. So in retrospect. They can separate SOLO Q players and Team stacks.
Players have been asking for solo q from OW1 and they are ignored. The best is to ignore this game until they add it.
Exactly. They are lying somewhere. Either they lie about the population or they lie about fairness (rigging). solo queue vs. stacks is a big no-no for even casual mode spirit (let alone competition).
maybe it’s me just reading the patents, but they seem inclined to feed solo queue f2p into engagement stacks with obvious rigging so the stacks will feel artificial highs and maybe buy-in to the BP, skinshop, or at the very least keep playing. they want the no-buy lonewolf f2p burners churned off the live-service. if they can’t shadowban you with queue times and false reports they’ll get you in the MM.
“Millions” means millions of accounts. Active players? Who knows. Concurrent Active players? Not sure either. Then we got the population split up into regional areas, which divides that even further.
Short Queue times and Good Match Quality are indicators of a healthy population. Overwatch has neither.
