I know it’s the end of the season but this also happens mid season as well more so right now, 3 games in a row with someone on an alt account claiming to be super intoxicated and not being able to focus. I have had so many games where either one of the dps or the tank are severely lacking the entirety of the match and just playing so bad. Only for them to type or say “sorry guys I’m really high right now” “sorry guys I’m drinking while playing” “sorry I’m not playing the best I’m really exhausted” like why are you in competitive then? Go play QP or any of the arcade modes why are you going to ruin everyone else’s comp game and rank especially on an alt account that you dont give af about. If you wanna play just stick to the other modes out side of ranked.
But its a game? Where in the TOS does it say you are not allowed to play Comp if you havent slept or are drinking? rofl
I’d rather people absolutely wrecked than the usual Saudi squad screaming about violence to people’s mothers and standard derogatory comments.

But don’t be surprised when people report you for trolling and throwing games.
But, then I don’t expect most players to care. There is a general lack of respect for others in this community, as you can see from the constant blame game on the forums.
Obviously, it doesn’t and no one’s saying you can’t drink or smoke and play its more an issue when ur absolutely hammered, falling asleep or high out ur mind that your senses are so disoriented you can’t even do the simplest of things in the game to give ur team a chance. On top of that players that play like that need to start playing on their main accounts then instead of switching to their Alts and screwing over other people trying to climb. Is it a rampant issue in the community? No. But it is extremely frustrating when it happens.
Exactly. Like I said if they wanna play like that do it on ur main and suffer the loss like ur forcing ur team to do. This is also the general problem with alts people just burn and turn anytime they wanna ruin games for others. If you take your games seriously on ur main and dont want throwers or trolls to ruin your games then why would you do that to someone else whos playing on their main and wanting to climb like make it make sense
Imagine if the devs went thru with the “one account” attempt it removed. It’s almost as if the community and respect for people’s rank could be influenced by, get this, the game and blizzard’s policies.
Wild thought I know. The actions of the players a reflection of the game itself.
