Considering Ram has
- An attack that ignores shield
- An extra 200 Armor every 10 seconds
- A 700 HP shield with decent cooldown
- An Ultimate that kills squishies just by looking at them
Makes him a prime choice for Tank

Well some people just can’t properly use in and charge in headfirst without being sure they can pick off a squishie

I never leave any games but when someone picks Wrecking Ball or Junker Queen at the beginning of a match, I usually sigh and tell myself “this one is going to be a tough one” 
.
Rammattra is fine to me though and he’s my go-to hero when I play tank.
I swear i got killed by a Ram who didnt even look at me.

I consider myself a Tank main, and Ram is in my pool of tryhard Tanks. When played well, he can dominate a match, and I usually diff the other Tank when I play him in QP or MH (I very, very rarely play Comp).
I assume the people you are playing with just run in punching and do not ever block. Trust me: he is good and those people are just bad at him.
I go afk on payload with Ram ult and Nano if its overtime, Ram is a broken tank is some situations.

OP is probably the support that sees Ram ult and does dps instead of healing him.

The council of supports does not claim them.
They can stay in the Damage faction where they belong.
Ram is literally the most frustrating tank to fight IMO. You won’t see me complain about heroes or balance often if ever, but this guys ult needs to be toned down a little like wth

People trying to play ramattra like rein are throwing, so I understand the sentiment.
Playing ramattra like a tank that can go from poke to rush, that is where he works.
