Stop nerfing mercy

Oh, come off of it. Mercy’s at nearly 100% usage in competitive. That’s a clear sign that a hero is overpowered, and badly so. It isn’t because Moira AND Ana AND Lucio all are weak, except by comparison.

Because ALL bad things that happened to overwatch are those “pesky Dps mains”

Dps mains also:

Kicked my dog.

Stole my GF.

Set my house on fire.

Sank the titanic.

Caused WW2

AND global warming.

that time you stubed your toe on the table?

It was a Dps main that moved the table in the first place. Broke in. Moved it. Laughed evilly. Then left the scene, their trap just waiting for you

Damn Dps mains. Ruining everything.

If you play that as a strat, I have about as little respect for you as I would a team running pirate ship.

Might not want to be calling others “bad” if you go PharMercy… just putting that out there.

Pick rate is a bulls**t metric. There are only 3 main healers currently. Ana, Moira, and Mercy. Lucio, Brig, and Zen are not main healers. You should always see 1 support from each set in most generic comps. Buff or rework Ana to be playable instead of nerfing the one character you got right in R&D, then you will see these pick rates balance out.

When she goes out of her way to help and heal and save others but in return she gets beat to the ground with all these nerfs as a thank you.

And look. It’s December and we get another nerf. Really balanced

I am not a fan of participating in necro’ed threads, but - what nerf are you referring to?

Is there a new ptr live already?

A year later, I can confirm that Mercy has been pretty much destroyed. Listen, I don’t care how many people pick Mercy compared to other healers. Maybe it’s just because they designed some pointless healers that aren’t as good? Then that’s Blizzard’s fault. The timed rez that you can (and almost always) get stunned out of or killed during is ridiculous. Why not just one instant rez? I know why. Because a bunch of whiners on the forums would raise Cain over it. This community and Blizzard is a sad joke, I’m afraid.
