It appears that this guy has a specific keyword pattern when bumping threads, currently bumping any thread that has “diff” on the title (well, 90% of it actually).

It’s just basic OW community. Whining about something that literally is a personal inconvenience that is completely nullified by… Using your eyes.

i already told you, you have to click on the topic first to see the date it was posted.

if you go into general right now and look at the topic ‘What is really the diff?’, you cannot see from the list what date it was posted. you have to click on it, then you see it’s from several years ago, and that isn’t the only irritating thing. you can’t tell which topic is recent and which is a necro’d 3 year old post just from the list.
that’s what’s annoying. they’re scattered around in the most recent topics and people are clicking them thinking they’re recent.
you have to click on like 4 different necro’d topics before you find 1 that isn’t from several years ago.

You know that is the nice thing about necroed threads where I see I’ve previously posted in. I can look back to see if I still agreed with my old posts or not.

Dude, no one is claiming otherwise. It clutters the forum and distracts from meaningful discussion while also being against the rules of the forum itself.

It’s not unreasonable to want the rules to be enforced when someone continously and knowingly breaks them.

It’s still barely an issue, it’s one person necro’ing threads, that people are crying about embarrassed over.

Just read the date, and poof. Move on.

Surprised Blizz mods haven’t revoked that account’s access to the forums yet…like, the BTag is little more than a bunch of random numbers and letters…add that to the continuing necroing of 30-day plus threads (with posts that often times look like ChatGPT wrote them) and one has to how that account isn’t IP-banned yet.
