this happens every few months, makes you wonder why they don’t just prohibit commenting on threads that have been dead for ~6 months

It’s the same mental case as last time. Just put the posts on ‘muted’ and report them.

Edit: looks like they got banned on that other acc, so now they’ve made an alt accout and gone full ‘mask off’. Yikes.

That’s the thing… some of them don’t have any recent comments as far as I can tell?

So it makes me wonder if the original poster edits the post, will that bring it back from the dead?

They should do this. I got baited into commenting on one the other day because someone necroed it and deleted their comment but I didn’t notice the date.

I’ve always said this: we had this stupid option to hide spoilers not long ago, but there is no more useful technical option like the “topics are closed after 3 months of inactivity” rule. with a consequent hypocrisy towards the forum rules themselves, which technically say that necroposting is not allowed.

about a few months ago a very big troll user had multiple accounts to trolling every day around the EU forum. They banned him after “only” 3 weeks in which he was fully active. this is the real social negligence that blizzard does not know how to handle. :clown_face:

Not sure about that old posts, but for new people its easy to get mistaken and necro topic if they use search option, search by relevance is not best thing and its default one.

Hmmm… 2018 post huh? That’s probably the same troll that necropost old thread by spamming YT link of a husky dog video from their channel (possibly also promoting their channel which consists mainly videos of fake giftcard giveaway video and flexing their Guccis).

It’s not even theirs lmao. That video is stolen, like most videos from their channel (except a few OW gameplay videos).

i mean which is it people? Make a new thread for things that have already been discussed and then get flamed for that? or necro an old post that is still relevant rather than making a new one?

People who get upset over this are either OCD or crazy …like who cares?
wHy aren’t we more upset about the shills for streamers linking vids in here annd NOT providing any context or breakdown of what is covered? Newsflash some of us DONT want to give that content creator a free click and using the forums for that is exploit-y
I also dont have patience for a video, just say what you need to say and let the conversation flow.
