Stop Fake LW "Thanks yous" when he pulls

If you don’t know whenever LW pulls someone the hero thanks him automatically. Hate this. I want to know when people actually appreciate it and know their life was saved.

I just use the “thank you” comm for good pulls. Which is most of them.

I actually didn’t know this. I can understand why you feel the way you do but if you look at your team mate, a symbol picture will pop up above their heads with a “thumbs up” letting you know if that was a genuine thank you from the player.

Oooh that’s automatic? Damn, here I was thinking some people actually appreciated my pulls. Does it always do that or only when you pulled and ‘saved teammate’?

I was wondering how so many people could emote so quickly.

When they stand still afterwards, look at you intensely and spam the “Thank you” line, that’s when you know they really mean it. Sometimes they’re so happy they use their ultimate right after you pulled them to show their emotions, then you did a great job.

It automatically plays the voiceline, just like hog automaticallt says “hello” when he hooks someone.

The symbol above the player (or message in chat) tells you if it was the player actually using the voiceline.

I do genuinely thank my lifeweavers though, especially when they do pull me out of certain death.

lucky you, i get the ones that pull me into a 1v3-5 because they messed up big time

:hamster:

Yesterday i got pulled 6 times wonderfully.
It was mystery heroes and i was reapering in the enemy backline.
I tried to wraith out the moment i got too low, but each time, i got pulled and healed to full.
It was lovely.

(I did kill a lot of squishies, saved the lifeweaver from a flanking mei and prevented a back cap. Maybe that was why i got saved so often XD)

Never because nobody likes being pulled out of their position.

i feel like whenever i actually expect a life grip it never happens and when i dont it does

A LW saved me so many times. Last week a Rein charged me and him off the map, but our LW gripped me back to safety while Rein accepted his demise.

I don’t know, the most insignificant things get complained about.

Like mentioned already: you’d see a :+1::+1: symbol if it’s manual.

If I recall right. There is a way to combine two-voicelines together that are extremely rude.

I would save that for Troll-weavers that pull you during the worst possible scenarios.

The one that still infuriates me to this day and why I have to side with the REMOVAL of life grip is when we were in Overtime on Flashpoint and it was 3 on 3 and the enemy team had the capture point in Overtime and the clock was starting to burn…

I was within a few inches of that objective to hold it when our team could literally have came in and nuked them and we woulda won.

Some “Troll weaver” pulled me at 10% health LOSS and the clock ran out.

That right there makes this the single WORST mechanic in the game, by far!

But cant say anything in chat or I woulda told that person (bad gamer speak) for doing that.

maybe you have actual LW trolls in your games or you don’t watch your replays and reflect on them(genuinely)
could be both…

You should try positioning better if you dont want pulled out of your “position”

The “Thank” word should be replaced to “F” word by default for more relevance, as it is the most case  And if you think the other way, you can always say “Thank you!” manually after that, but still “F” you for that ability!

Who is to say how good someone’s positioning is?

I can’t count all the times when I am trying to ult in the back of the enemy team just to have waver pulling me out of it.

If you’re at critical health and are about to die, your positioning is bad :+1:

It is not if the enemy doesn’t know that I am there, if I am about to ult or if I am planning to swap if I get killed.
probably ton more other cases as well.

healing - fine
pulling me out of position - not good

If you’re at critical health and are about to die, then they either do or you’re about to fall off the map. Either way your positioning is bad :+1:
