for so long doomfist was garbage tier, he has gotten possibly more nerfs than any other hero besides maybe dva. nobody cared at all that he was garbage and being a doom main was hard because anytime i picked him someone would tell me to go hanzo or mccree. then it was super easy to counter doom back then because all you needed was to go 3 tanks or get a roadhog or 3 dps with sombra or cree or something and he’s easily countered. but you all wanted role queue so badly, i said this would happen back then as a doom main, you wouldnt be able to counter me as easily with role queue, well everyone ignored me then just like they always ignored doomfist mains and now with double shield because nobody is playing roadhog sombra is pushed out by shields so that leaves one of the few heroes capable of pushing through shields literally and punching through the def. Now if this isnt what you want, this has been a year or so of nerfs etc to get us here. the meta is now calling for doomfist finally and people cant stand it. well all i have to say is stop playing sigma rein just because you feel comfortable with double shield and go back to orisa hog if a doom is messing you up. orisa hog will take care of him again but that isnt the meta anymore nobody playing hog anymore for some reason everyone wants to play sigma orisa sigma rein and it’s dumb because that’ so easy for a doom to counter then you complain about doomfist being OP well maybe dont play heroes he counters so easily?
Doomfist was only garbage tier because DPS was garbage tier. Once DPS could be played again he immediately saw use in OWL and is very effective and common in high ranked games. Go watch any streamer and you’ll be hard pressed to not find a doomfist in a match

Doomfist is a pug stomper, once you’re in a team environment everyone reacts as a team and he starts to suck.
His ability to assassinate people with shoot->Seismic->shoot->Uppercut->shootshoot is too good.
yeah and his last buff game him abilities never on cooldown so kind of doesnt matter what nerfs he got in the past.
The amount of nerfs a hero gets does not matter same with buffs, if they are still too weak or too strong they will continue to get those buffs or nerfs
Doomfist is not a problem. Anyone who thinks otherwise is simply whining because they don’t like his kit design.
Brigitte is certainly in the running to disprove that statement.

We don’t call heroes balanced just because they’ve had a lot of nerfs or more nerfs than other heroes; balance is not about taking turns. We call heroes balanced when they’re actually properly balanced.
And judging by the overwhelming amount of feedback, people are not finding Doom to be balanced at all.
