you only counterpicking doesn’t work, you can’t carry the whole game, if you want to win by counterpicking, your whole team has to, it has no point, (applies only in your team, enemy teams are always hive minded and 5stack)

No, I don’t think I will.
So what you’re saying is, people should play suboptimally? That’s not gonna happen without a real cost to swapping.

Well I’m certainly not gonna keep playing Ana into a full dive comp.
Counterpicking is different from swapping to something more effective.
If you are playing Pharah, and you are getting farmed by the Widow… one should swap to something more effective.
If you let’s say directly swap to Sombra just to target the Widow, as you said, that is not going to be enough. However, I never got the whole “counter-swap argument” as this has always been a thing and is a tactic.
