We don’t need to buff a hero to make it viable.
Nerf the counters. Nerf the meta. Make Quality of life changes, but don’t just give every hero increased functionality and expect them to perform better.
We buff the supports to protect against DPS so then we have to buff the dps to engage the supports which then need the supports buffed to defend against the buffed DPS which then we need to buff the dps to deal with the buffed supports…
Meanwhile the tank players are there trying to hold space while everyone is waste deep in gasoline surrounded by 10 people holding matches.
When you nerf a hero, all heroes that it does well against get buffed.
Example: If you nerf bastion Reinhardt and Winston have an easier time playing into it and therefore feel buffed.
Nerf. Everything.
