I just had it happen to me and it fn sucks . pretty sure a stack of 3 all reported me for cheating when playing hanzo in quick play … i got alot of decent shots yeah but im honestly not that great of a hanzo player
They just couldnt accept that someone else could do slightly better then them without cheats and decided to put my account in danger because of that …
Absolute babies and i hate how ‘spot the cheater’ became a game that everyone wants to win so badly nowadays they are willing to just accuse random players for the worst thing you could accuse a gamer of …
Its like some are looking for ways to justify their losses more then actually trying to improve
Let me make this clear . i not once even searched for cheats . i dont care for them . never used them and never will and i hate the rats that do
And being called one of them and possibly losing my account because of it or if more/enough other players do is a giant stinker , this is also my one and only account btw . i dont have the money to waste on multiple copies of the same game like others .
I cant risk losing it just because every baby out there is free to accuse people of cheating whenever they feel like it … i.hate.this

How do you know they reported you?
If they threatened to report you, report them for false reporting.
Preaching to the choir here. Sadly there’s no way to tell a cheater from a genuine player on the forums.
I noticed it gets really bad the higher you climb on the ladder. People I watch that are great with Hanzo, Widow, Ashe, or Cassidy are instantly called out for cheating when I’m fairly certain none of them have cheated (I’m talking about pretty well known streamers). I guess people at the higher end of the ladder can’t accept that there are people who are better than them at the top.
Because it is easy to spot someone fighting the aimbot, you watch for the wiggle wiggle pull of the aimbot fighting the player when they are trying to reposition, and it is more common to find them on snipers or Zenyata. when 1 player in a lobby is at 25 kills and everyone else is at 2-5 it is real easy to see who to start watching kill cams from, unless you see two with very similar naming convention with one of them with the 25 kills, then you know you have a boosting smurf
They’ll report you, if you’ve got nothing to hide, don’t worry. I suspect you probably do, though.
It’s so easier to find and use cheats than it is to accuse someone of cheating.
Maybe if Blizzard did something about them.
This is exactly what im talking about … you have nothing to go on with this yet you ‘suspect’ … i hate this man …
You dont know what you re talking about , you dont know me either … yet you ‘suspect’
You dont suspect crap , you just dont care …

I’m not someone to back a banned player’s testimony, if you’re banned that’s end of story.
But the “if she floats she’s a witch, if she sinks and dies she’s not a witch” or “big brother” witch hunt mentality needs to stop.
If you can’t prove what you’re seeing is hacking beyond a reasonable doubt, you’re self reporting a skill issue out of anger, and false reports should be punished even if the reported player in question isn’t punished.
Anyone who cheats at a PvP game is most likely emotionally empty and lives a miserable existence.

Which is anywhere from 1/5 to 1/3rd of all online multiplayer FPS players.
I mean replays exist but even with them it’s often very hard to tell if some one is cheating or not. Unless they are brain dead and have it set to really high snap, using walls etc.
That said the main issue is Blizzard basically does nothing about cheating and just relies on the AI bots to auto ban people who get X amount of reports.
Even false reports, often against “off meta” hero’s are enforced. The appeal process is basically zero unless your a popular Streamer.
Streamers who even blatantly admit they false report with things like reporting every Sym they saw before a match even starts. Just because they hated the character.
