as title there seems to be no real good match ups , the matches are either stomp or get stomped , no middle ground … if this is there idea of match making then they need to go back to drawing board

Because they decided to do rank resets, this happens.
The same happens in valorant/league.
When ranks reset games are unbalanced untill everyone hits their correct rank

MMR is currently completely broken and we have a lot of new players in the game. It will take time. Comp is the most “save” mode.
it’s demoralising though, no fun for opposing team , and isnt that great for the team doing the stomping .

Last game I randomly hard stomped as hanzo getting 3 kills instantly on their clueless backline leading to one of the most onesided rolls I have ever seen.
I felt a little bad.
again 3 games in row our team completly stomped ? wtf is wrong with this stupid game ,
games should be fun and even, and make you think you at least tried or had a chance , not this constant back and forth stomp or be stomped match ups …
New players are the issue, but the same issue are GMs that were placed in gold plat and diamond (depending how long they haven’t been playing on their main accounts).
that cant be all thats there is too it , havnt won a single game today being stomped and when i say stomped i mean basically spawn camped every match , i play as support and only so much can do when team is just spawning and running in almost every match , and just play all over map
or tank decides to just push in straight into 5 oppsing tema members not even waiting for opening or a couple of kills ,
if this is what overwatch2 is now then i dont hold out much hope for its long term future
