already did that lol

3 Hour waiting time gang rise up

Try this, OP:

Install OW1 (this will actually make OW2 install faster).
Switch OW1 region to Asia.
Launch OW1 then Exit the game.
exit the launcher completely.
Relaunch the launcher.
Switch the region back to Americas.

After I did that, I was able to play OW2. Let me know if it works.

none of this crap works

Then its just a waiting game, unfortunately.

nope followed this and it didnt work, the only thing is that I already had OW1 installed so i skipped the first step, is that fine or should I uninstall reinstall

I think already having it installed should be fine. Really, I think nothing will help but waiting, so maybe play another game until it registers?

That’s the downside to technology, but look on the bright side: you’ll have 3 weeks to play it even if you can’t play today.

Yeah… no. Not everyone has the same solution.

Yeah I’m about to reach an hourlong wait myself…

Trying switching to the beta version of the battle.net app it worked for me.

I suspect that the sheer volume of folks who have been set tching streams and claiming invites has gummed up the works somehow.

Personally, I’m just going to wait until tomorrow and check back then. No sense in checking back over and over again for the rest of the evening when it’s already obvious that nobody is getting into the Beta with any reliability right now. (Even those who have been able to download/install the Beta have had trouble with the servers.)

Hopefully everything will have worked itself out by tomorrow.
