So we can all agree that Lifeguard was, essentially, an attempt at a fanservice skin. However, we can also all agree that it doesn’t even compare to the female fanservice skins or even, like, Doomfist’s default skin.
Let’s go over where this skin falls flat.
-The hair. Visible roots make it look really greasy, and the fake blond is… shudder. Let the man stay brunet I’m begging
-Body hair. You’re trying to tell me Jesse McCree, five o’clock shadow and all, would wax ever. We’ve seen his bare forearms in other skins. No he would not. The kicker here is that you can see in the hero gallery that there is chest/body hair on lifeguard but it’s so faint you have to squint and hope it’s not an illusion
-Toothpick legs. Idk what else to say but toothpick legs.
-Literally no muscular definition or even, like, chub depending on what you headcanon? It’s just this flat plane. Is McCree a twink??? Why is he built like this?
Fanservice on the dudes is really few and far-between, especially when there’s like… Literally every event mercy and d.va skin ever to constitute the female fanservice.
I know there’s basically no way to request to fix this skin–and I’m not–but can we, like, avoid it next time we try to do dude fanservice skins?
I really don’t understand this headcanon that McCree would be chubby under his armor. The guy’s a wandering bounty hunter. Sure, he’s likely doesn’t have a fitness routine, but he no doubt gets plenty of exercise due to his lifestyle, what with the fights he gets into and being on the run. Speaking of which, you think a man with a 60 million dollar bounty on his head is going to be getting in three square meals a day? He’s no doubt had to go days without eating while dodging the law and other bounty hunters. Makes sense that his stomach is flat.
I can agree that the blond hair looks horrible and I wish they’d let him keep his beard.
I mean, I think the man’s built. I don’t really necessarily agree with the chubby headcanon, I’m just accounting for it because either is more eye-catching than what we got.
I mean, it’s a fanservice skin so it doesn’t have to be the most lore-friendly, so I don’t see why he couldn’t at least had an outline of abs. Idk. Just does nothing in comparison to mercy’s cleavage skins I guess
Thats not a fanservice skin, Islander, Toa, and Beachrat are.
I’d say lifeguard is meant to be in the same sense.
Then again, I don’t think islander and toa are necessarily supposed to be; they just show off the fact that he’s Maori/some kind of Pacific islander.
He does have an outline of abs though. And his arms are still defined plus he’s got them calves. Mmm them calves.
If anything, that skin just makes McCree less desirable in my eyes. Just makes him look silly.
But whatever, Hanzo’s more handsome anyway. 
His Olive Garden Waiter skin is the best. He doesn’t even need to go shirtless to outshine McCree. 
Maybe I’m seeing things, but McCree does have a well-defined abdomen. ???

Honestly, Dapper Doomfist does it good too. Same with talon doomfist. Maybe I was looking at the wrong character all along…

Yes. Some YouTuber said he looked like an Olive Garden waiter once and I found that hilarious, and have stuck with it ever since. XD

The gun looks terrible, the abs look faker than ones drawn on with permanent marker, in game the fingers around the gun look like skin sausages and finally the ultimate voice line…

Junkrat always has those. It’s one of the little touches he has that make him so ratty.
Yeah, overall I think it’s a better skin. But the teeth there really throw me off.
