This seriously need to be fix It is so bad that this is happening to me multiple times. I have literally hooked people and they are in line of sight and It just lets them go. I’m not even being cc and their not even behind cover or anything. Idk what you guys at blizz did but this bug has never existed until patch 1.26.0.3 was introduced. This bug just makes him even more inconsistent than he all ready is.

His hook bug from the latest patch is player-side kind of.
The hook breaks when the player turns after landing a hook (to place the enemy to the side), but the game registers you as looking away, and breaks the obviously landed hook due to lone of sight.
It’s total crap, and I hope they revert it.
Yah. Landing a hook is hard enough as it is and when it just breaks like that i just feel so cheated. i understand the line of sight break thats fine but when it is a legit hook and their in the open and it just lets go like that is not ok.
Because no one looks their and most people just go to general and i have posted it in their and still no response from the devs.

Probably because his most played character is Doomfist. So im going to take a guess and say he’s a Doomfist main and since Roadhog is one of his counters he dosn’t want the bug fix.
Thing is that Sombra’s hack has been sometimes acting weird after the same patch so I’m guessing that they did something to the game that we haven’t been told about?
Something is broken unless u lagged in the first video but in the second video unless mercy has some special powers to break a hook that ability is broken unless in your opinion this is a very rare occurrence then it might have something to do with the instance.
Both hook and hack are the most buggy abilities in game but I guess the devs are too lazy to fix it
It probably won’t be looked at unless the Pros say something. Even tho i have video proof of it.
There are certain bugs that have existed since beta that still haven’t been fixed, like ghosting projectiles. Maybe hog hook has something to do with this, since it’s a projectile after all. Hanzo has this problem as well, and Seagull complained about this.
The los check in this game is just terrible. Both hack and hook break for no reason.
