Aatlis is back, but nobody is voting for it!! I’ve seen it several times, but only once did it get any votes at all, and it never won the vote.
So why bring it back? Why not keep it out of rotation and work on improving it? People don’t want it. It’s a waste of a map vote slot.
And why have it in QP and not in comp. That’s admitting it’s garbage but saying “QP are ok with garbage”. I mean, thanks I guess?
I’d love to know how team4 feels about
- aatlis being a disaster
- nobody playing mauga
- nobody playing hazard
They’ve had so many misses. Those are the worst, but playing against freja is zero fun too even if she is picked (and banned a lot).

All they did was fix stairs. Which was clearly the problem people had with the map and not the entire thing. Garbage map should be completely reworked. Or it can be used as a casepoint to never make anymore flashpoint maps.

Just got Aatlis win the map select with 1 vote. The entire other team left and the game got cancelled.

I don’t know, I’ve seen it selected enough. I think the maps okay but it does get hectic with team fights. It can get tough to navigate with all the flank routes. Team mates are often lost walking from spawn during point transitions or flanked on and die. Thus, I think people don’t like that sort of gameplay it lends itself into. I’ve said it before that people on OW mostly like a more straightforward into the choke style of team playing.
Also, wasn’t Hazard seeing a lot of play? I remember last month was constant complaints about him being too strong or something, was he overnerfed? I only see/play him in quick play so idk how he is doing in comp this season
Just sounds like a personal issue. I may get a leaver or two but never had the map wiped before.
However flashpoint is more popular in higher ranks than lower, so I guess it makes sense.

Aatlis wasn’t popular at any rank which is why it was removed from comp. They listen to the high ranks and they didn’t want it.

I really wasn’t trying to rank shame, I was connecting that to the fact I don’t see games canceled when aatlis is picked. I was drawing the conclusion that since lower ranked players statistically do not like flashpoint more, it makes sense games would be canceled more in those ranks. I have not seen one flashpoint canceled bc a full team left.
I believe the map was removed due to geometry bugs and not bc it was disliked no?
The map could use a few adjustments but I don’t think anything about it is worthy of the hate it gets.

Well, it’s FP so it’s auto bad. Walking simulator. And Attlis has no easy way to get to upper areas. Where it’s needed. You gotta always go to a far end and turn.

They introduced a mode that caused so many leavers that they implemented a leaver penalty. Then they made a new map for that mode and added map votes.

Flashpoint is great. Most voted mode among high ranks. Meanwhile the average players just wanna do payload choke points every game

Link to them saying that? I’m assuming we are talking about it being gone the past couple weeks? Because stairs were literally missing so people could fall through the map….

Personally for me whenever I play that map theres always a tracer just murdering everyone so uhh yeah I dont like that map.
