When me and my friend are trying to queue for competitive, we still receive the message that says that we are still not able to party with each other because of ranking difference. I thought this new update was supposed to allow all players to play with each other in a wide range, or close range competitive. And it isn’t like we are really that far off to begin with.

is everyone placed? sometimes it acts up when 1 or more people are ranked up
and what is the range of your group?

Even when it lets you, it takes 30+ minutes to find a 7 minute match lol

Yeah this update has nearly killed OW for me and my group of friends. For the entirety of the existence of the game we have been able to play ranked together, and now the devs have officially given in to literal children who cry if every game isn’t 100% fair.

On the other hand solo q matchmaking has improved drastically and I no longer get placed into four stacks. So the plat bronze duos can kindly take their nonsense to qpn

Have one of you not done all your placements from last year? If not, you won’t be able to queue up until you both individually finish those. Then you should be able to.
same here, i have played ranked with my friend yesterday, at aroung 23:00h, we can’t find a match any more. really strange. none ban no nothing just can’t find a match.
