Steamdb number didn't determined the game state

and yet we all saw multiversus died despite many people said ‘’ OH THAT IS ONLY ON STEAM ON CONSOLE FOR SURE HUNDRED THOUSAND PEOPLE PLAYING ‘’

What are you talking about? And you are already going on about this nonsense on another topic so why start this one too? Just spam at this point.

it’s not nonsense you’re just coping really hard

steam will expose this game’s true nature that blizzard keep hiding from us

have they posted anything related to playerbase’s population after this ?

https://www.pcgamer.com/overwatch-2-hits-35-million-players-in-its-first-month/

answer is nope they haven’t cuz the game is bleeding dry on player population hence why the matchmaking is suck

Steam will tell us nothing except the trickle of people signing up through steam.

Explain how, after the majority of ppl that will play OW2 have already tried it or are playing it, Steam numbers will be able to be used to tell us anything about the player base? I’m expecting steam numbers to be pretty small as there can’t be that many people trying OW2 any more.

You’re not coping very well. You don’t seem to understand how numbers work!

i think steam version will surpass current bnet version population at first week but after that everybody leave and the game will dry once more

And how will you know? You don’t know the current bnet population. You can come on here and say “hey, I told you so” but you still won’t have a clue what the bnet population is and so won’t know if you’re right or not.

I’m curious why you think people that use steam also don’t use bnet and would have mostly tried OW2 already? I have both. I’m pretty sure you have both. What is special about steam?

It could also be argued that if the game is popular on Steam then it is probably generally popular. Steam is not special with their type of players. If steam users find it fun then so will bnet users. If steam users hate it, then probably bnet users will too.

I can see a lot of ppl that have already tried it on bnet will vent on steam whether they play it from steam or not. So I do expect a lot of negative reviews (not saying it’s not deserved).

The steam population will literally be mostly new accounts from new players or people downloading on Steam deck.
