If I login through Steam my friends cannot invite me into party (unless they login through Steam too) … I have to invite them and it works fine
If I login like before via Battle.Net launcher though they can invite me and I can invite them like normal
Can confirm this behaviour - appears linked to ‘receive group invites from’ setting in Overwatch settings. If this is set to ‘Friends’, OW doesn’t appear to view Steam players as friends, even when the linked account is already a Battlenet friend.
Setting this to ‘Anyone’ appears to work around this behaviour, but obviously isn’t desirable.
Agreed, they need to fix it asap
