Steam client does not show notifications

I’ve been using Steam to play OW2 since January, but I just installed the bnet client with the game and recieved several notices:

  • A warning that my communication behavior was not in line
  • A notice that my account has been silenced until 2024-03-03
  • Several “Thank you for reporting notices”

My account silence warning was never shown to me, hence I did not know I was being reported. I feel that the penalty should be removed and this is a warning to all Steam users that their accounts may be at risk for not seeing these important notices.

You would need to submit an appeal ticket for that process. Players in the forum can’t look into your account or make those changes.

I agree on that part, but there’s a much bigger issue here that affects the entire Steam playerbase.

The other issues you would want to report in Bug Report since they should be showing up. Haven’t seen other reports of this, but they may not know it’s happening.

Can this be moved to Bug Report or do I have to create a new thread?
