You know how LW could “curve” his healing? To potentially heal somebody behind a shield?
They removed it 
Lw was overperforming anyway I guess especially with the Buffed dps passiv

Lw could never heal someone in a Winston bubble, only healing people if he released his mouse 1 before they walked behind a wall or open shield

Sounds like a bug. His healing is blocked by shields. It only continues through walls, when you let it go and the ally is still in LoS at this point.
If you knew how to flick the camera at the right moment, you could send the healing flower over or under a shield. If they removed it, it’s a definite nerf. Was probably a bug, but so was half the Mercy tech and they incorporated it into game.

In the practice range testing this now. It’s not looking good so far. Outside of having an actual barrier in front of me to test it with, it’s most noticeable when I flick the camera downwards. Before, I would see the heal blossom curve down into the ground before hitting the target. Now it’s just traveling ahead in a straight line without curving

Thats how I noticed it. Havent tested it in game or tried with a shield but I doubt that it still works tbh

I managed to test it out a little bit with a barrier by waiting for a tank-bot to move forward until it was between me and the friendly bots. The blossoms were unable to travel around the barrier

LW has never been able to heal behind any shield, you can sometimes make it work if you get a good angle on the person who is behind a shield.

No, we were able to do it CONSISTENTLY. The only barrier we literally couldn’t heal around at all was Winston’s, due to it being a sphere with no openings to the outside. It was a tech, and it was definitely removed in this patch

Next thing you know they will remove his flux cancel/zarya lift/orisa lift because they were bugs too and remove all niches where he was somewhat useful. Wtf is the plan here. This whole season was such a disappointment…
I’m an actual game designer by profession. Do you know how game monetization actually works? The vast majority of players are not paying costumers, game developers are betting on those hardcore users who find their own niche(which they can’t find anywhere else) and keep coming back because they’ve basically created their own thing within the game, and nurturing these communities is basically the ONLY way you can make money in a game. Ever wonder why there are a billion mercy skins? She is adored by few, she has a lot of cool tech you can learn and express you playstyle with, she fills in the niche of “people who generally can’t aim/come from different types of games but still enjoy the gameplay and want to get good at it”.
From personal experience, there was mystery heroes. Gone. Lifeweaver tech(the one time i actually spent money in the game was to buy his harbinger skin). Slowly being removed. This is bonkers to me. I see absolutely no reason for these decisions. None of these things were seemingly impacting gameplay negatively for anyone else.

Is there a video of how it was? I don’t remember having the option to heal past a reinhardt barrier if I’m forward facing it. Otherwise, it’s likely a bug and should be reported on the bug report forum if it’s not in the patch notes

Not sure about videos ABOUT the tech as I don’t watch or search for any OW content outside of raw replays, but I’m sure I could find it in one of my own replay recordings if I go looking for it
Lifeweaver wasn’t mentioned in the patch notes at all. Trust me, I’ve already gone and made a bug report thread about it. Now we wait and see what happens, basically

ReformedRavioli used to have a bunch of educational videos and I’m sure he at some point showed this tech specifically, but he seems to have removed most videos from his channel for some reason. I’m trying to find a good video and will link it here when I do.
If you flicked your camera up or down, the blossom would be able to go above or below barriers
