basically a DPS character is designed to minimal raw damage and apply a large portion of it as hex.
Hex is an uncapped number that gets applied by all your sources of damage to enemies.
It’s a negative effect, so it can be cleansed by all cleansing abilities.
The effect also begins to deteriorate after 1 second of not taking damage at 15hex per second.
The actual value of this ability is that you have an ability that activates the hex as raw damage. The idea being that normal healing has no effect on it, forcing the enemy to disengage, or use CDs to deal with it.
Standing around like an idiot will be a dumb idea, even when one-shots aren’t in the game!
