Seagull recently did a video on Youtube. But I really agree with him. I can’t count the number of times a match was one team saving their ults for a push the final minute (offense or defense). Why not disable ults in the final minute of play? That would really reward the teams that work together to overcome the mess at the end. It would prevent the lazy style of play of just holding onto ults just for the last part of the game. It would reward skill over game mechanics. The State of Overwatch - YouTube
It seems the Seagull has attracted a flock of parrots.

i really agree with most of what Seagull said in his video, and I think i came up with either triage fixes or band-aid fixes. either way, this is my two cents…
- Season hero Rotation might fix this whole thing. Have certain heroes locked away from play in competitive during certain seasons. I think it would make us all try to pick heroes that aren’t in the meta.
- Lock competitive away from players unless you have a hero pool of 5 or more with each hero having at least 2 hours of play time or more. this might prevent one-tricks from staying one-tricks and force players to be more of a swiss army knife than a one-trick pony.
