Normally? there is one every other match at minimum, weekends you can expect them in 2/3 of the matches because they all come out to play. and never play after 12am PST or you will see what the Chinese ones can do…
As a note, on average 30% of FPS/Hero shooter players are cheating…
I will see a cheater about 1 in every 5-10 games. Before you say it, I actually do know what I’m looking for to spot them. Each of the 3 types has a different tell after all.
Trigger bots in all player vs player games are so obviously used anymore its pathetic. People have become numb to what artificial aim assistance is at this point. That about every other match someone is using something to help them aim.
Being an FPS gamer on PC since the 90s and even being a former cheater in the early 2000s myself. The amount of cheats being used today is insane compared to what it use to be.
Game companies dont’ do anything about aim assistance cheating because they dont want to hurt people’s feelings for sucking at playing video games. Despite those of us that put down our cheats decades ago and decided that we had more satisfactions when the game isn’t being played for us.
Look at this current generation though and the participation trophy thing. Yup. explains a lot and game companies should crack down on it.
I mean look at how many people use something to help them lock on to a player and target them. and it is just grossly pathetic that blizzard just goes and does ban waves after a large number of reports going out, vs actually punishing people directly.
Like maybe lock their account down for a week, tell them if they do it again they will send a lawsuit directly to their ISP and have them forward it to their address and they get a court date to pay damages. Maybe then this nonsense would stop.
Well, that’s my experience too anyway. Interesting seeing there are a good number of others that feel that way now.
Presumably that’s hard to prove, seeing that it isn’t done? It totally should though because the damage to the game is real. Blizzard could make a killing.
Whatever % people come up with, they should double or triple it.
A lot of cheaters are being more covert and only using their cheats at clutch moments. They just want to diff the match, not go 28-0 which would trigger everyone’s alarms.
Also, sometimes the cheater is actually on your team, and most players don’t really try to analyze teammates for cheats.
So aside from the same 5-6 people (heck… might even just be 2 with one guy on several accounts ⌐.⌐) who think everyone else is cheating (likely to justify their own cheating or exploiting) … anyone else have an opinion?
