stats need context can’t compare stats you’re getting vs metal rank enemies to stats from GM games it’s applies to checkers literally nothing to do with each other.

well yes becuase if you put a GM in your same game rather than you they would likely go like 50 kills and 3 deaths or something

I agree with Alayla. If youre a decent player your stats should be pretty damn high in the lower ranks. I see what you’re getting at with your friends stats being lower at GM but you have to realize shes vsing people at that skill level too, I’ve never been close to that high but im guessing you wont find the ole zombie walking enemies in that bracket haha.

yea ofc… but we also know, the gap between is there and we know the gaps. still wondering about the oneshot potential, where does it matter - flick is a flick.
It is still weird, im with you, ofc you can´t compare it, i litterly said it. But still, you also need to count games where people leave in lower ranks, as on. it is vice versa in this case. ofc, movement, positioning will be huge different. but i also think - flick is a flick.
Gold player´s i compared have arround 30-40% of the stats.

i do, 2 of them have way lower stats
perhaps you should challenge a gm/t500 player from the forums to a 1v1 with sojourn in a custom game, put cd timers at 0 and duel it out then.
i will pay you $500 if you win 50% of the fights.

It’s normal as long as you are continuing to win and climb. The expectation would be that your stats will start to dip a bit once you settle in to wherever you belong or if you put up fluffed numbers that aren’t impacting the overall outcome of the game.
That is to say that it may be normal. It can be hard to tell when just looking at numbers without context.
Can I do it? I’m top 500 if you turn the table upside down.

i guess we could take odds…your pay out wont be very high tho because youd be expected to win. i guess you could throw and lose on purpose, but then id have to send the bruisers after you. and no one wants that fren.

So Win or lose dont matter , Statistic per 10 min dont matter , win rates dont matter.
This ranking start to feel like this its a scamm , lotery… Meanwhile Diamonds and plat are mixed with Bronze player in matchmaking.

my offer is there. the fact remains the difference between you and a t500 would be crystal clear after 5 fights.
if you would just compare the stats - plus the fact to understand how to play sojurn. i would agree with you. but you didn´t - whatever it was ore is, what you are missing.
1vs1 same hereo? obviosly a aim thing, at a big part atleast.
you are completely leaving out the fact your “friend” is playing against higher ranked players, so they move better, play better, and use natural cover better. this is why you comparing your gold stats to a t500 is pointless.

you can definitely compare stats but you gotta have your buddy smurf first.
when you get used to the other team exerting high pressure, giving you slim margins to hit shots, counterstrafe you, among other things while worried about more punishing positioning and engage timngs etc… then you take all that, dial it down 1k or 2k sr, suddenly it’s like everyone else is playing really slow.
simple things like “just a flick” become really easy and consistent. you get used to doing all of that stuff on autopilot, that’s why it seems normal like nothing’s happening.
but it’s there, it’s happening.
