Which has me thinking: What if we were to get more heroes who had multiple stances? Just because Ramattra’s the first hero to have a secondary stance, doesn’t mean its necessarily limited to just Ramattra (or at least, I hope that’s not the case), as it opens up a variety of unique and dynamic platstyles across all roles.
Speaking of the other roles, I have a concept I came up with a while ago that I’ve been sitting on for some time with a Stance Switching Support hero, which I wanted to share. His name is Dea, once a lead executive at Vishkar, but left suddenly, after learning about Sanjay’s secret. Usually calm and reserved, he has a bitter side he keeps under control, but recent events have left him all too willing to tap into his darker side, unleashing chaos and destruction on his enemies, while protecting those close to him.
New Support Hero: Dea
General:
- Health: (In the ratio H:SH) 125/75, 200 Total
- Movement Speed: 6m/s
Passive: Order and Chaos
Dea’s abilities get stronger for a short time, after swapping between his available stances. This effect can only happen once every few seconds.
Additionally, depending on which stance Dea is currently in, his allies or enemies recieve passive healing and passive damage respectively while standing in close proximity to Dea.

Dea wields a custom made crossbow, made from hard-light. Applaud fires heavy bolts that deal damage to enemies, ignoring damage reducing effects. The bolts, however, are quite heavy, and as such don’t travel very far.

Secondary Fire: Compassion
Equipped with a hard-light gauntlet, Dea creates small orbs of light that he releases towards allies, healing them. Pressing his secondary fire will cause the orbs to orbit around Dea, a follow up allowing him to send all his created orbs to a single target. Holding his secondary fire will cause him to quickly release his orbs all at once in a short range beam.

Secondary Fire: Resentment
Dea creates an incredibly hot lash from hard-light that he uses to strike his enemies in short to medium range. Pressing the secondary fire binding will crack the whip freely, dealing damage and a small damage over time. Holding the binding will cause the whip to bind the enemy, preventing movement and slowly pulling them towards Dea, dealing damage over time, but will activate a cooldown. During this time, Dea’s whip becomes destructable.

Dea targets an enemy or an ally, the effect of the ability changing depending on the target.
Enemies targeted are thrown into a fit of rage, being silenced and forced to attack Dea.
Allies gain decaying Overhealth and deal increased damage, but also receive increased damage.

Dea unleashes a burst of unstable energy from his gauntlet, damaging enemies and healing allies caught in the blast. Allies hit gain additional Overhealth and a strong heal over time, while enemies are enraged, increasing the damage they take and reducing the damage they inflict.
During this time, Dea gains both secondary effects of his Passive, with a greatly increased bonus to the stance he’s currently in. Swapping stances during Dea’s ultimate doesn’t change which bonus he receives.
