So, I was in this qp and at some point 4 people in mine and 4 in enemy team choosed that the game shouldn’t be played and kept everyone hostage of the match, now I have a 2 minute leaver penalty as didn’t want to stay in such game forever

This is the reason you don’t get suspended for leaving one game. What about the other games you left? I’d assume they weren’t also stalled push games.
Also it really shouldn’t be difficult to just get the enemies off the point so don’t see it being a real problem that needs to be adressed.
Exactly this. Why you leaving enough games to get penalty then coming here complaining that 1 of those game was a problem? If you only left that 1 game there would be no penalty. Cry more.
You can push them away they go back , 1 v 5 you can’t do it genious, about other games you know , rl issue? Maybe I tried a qp to check my connection. But hey instead to punish those who stalled punish the one who was stuck with such stupid people.
No, they punished someone with a trend of leaving games. Even then, you only got a 2 minute penalty which is more of a warning rather than an actual penalty.
If connection is a problem for you, there are other ways to check it without being penalised. Real life issues are unfortunate but, as incompitent as Blizzard is at times, you can’t blame them for you having those isses.
I feel like every role has enough cc to force people off the point for the required amount of time. Even if not, it happens. That’s only one game that you left.
essentially what people do not realize is there are ways to hold the game hostage and this is a soft-lock exploit to overwatch.
Quickplay CP maps have the same issue. If both teams refuse to advance the objective. You can essentially never start the match.
How rare is this scenario? In over 1500 hours of qp I’ve not once seen ppl just sit there and try not to finish a match. I’m sure it happens, but with how rare it is, sounds like a non issue to quit that one match and queue up for the next. Or wait all of 2m.
