Why is there not a talent/build calculator anywhere? The only way for me to look at all the talents is to join a game?

There’s a stadium practice range that shows your build cost

Not just Join a game you have the ability to join practice range and practice with heroes builds. I do think however blizzard should allow players to look at the information and perks more freely during the match as well as a tab for different values. For Example:
Hero Damage Values: This shows players different damage values for each ability and weapon the damage does as well as the new unlockable damages and calculates it on a tab where you can see it where its at before and after the calculations. (League of Legends does this really well.)
Damage Resistant Values: Shows you how much damage you resist with armor and without armor and other added perks you gained. Basically it shows the other icons on the tab screen when you pick them that may be influencing your damage resistance. Like the one that resists ability damage by 15% as long as you have shields or 10% damage resistance with armor or low health. (tells you the total amount)
Life Steal amount: tells us how much per hit you would heal.
Cooldown numbers: tells us the exact time your cooldowns is at.
Attack Speed: Shows the base attack speed time and what it is after the increase/decrease. (Should Def design perks that increase damage but slow down abilities cooldowns or attack speed.)
Misc: Other utility based statistics that help players choose perks or powers.
The more informed the players are the better informed decision they can make when choosing a power or perk. This is important in overall gameplay design because if not someone will just design a third party way of doing this and this will overall affect people giving other players who spend more time studying on other sites an advantage.
I made a mode like this for any workshop players that was in OW1 before stadiums release. KBHA0

Another key benefit is that you get to test how hard your build hits after applying all powers and perks.

If this does what I think it does… It’ll be a lot more helpful than practice mode
This one does what the practice mode one does, as well as calculate cost on a per round basis + has a search bar to easily find items
Hmm I wonder if there is a place to get the data from of like cost for each item? If so it would be pretty easy to build a little web app for people I think.
I’ll look into it, but blizzard usually gives us developers nothing to work with, and honestly it’s a pain in the butt to have to hand hard code so many values especially considering they may be tweaked at some point by them.
But if I could get things like the heroes base stats plus the stadium stats it’s a very simple calculation and very easy UI for building.
I was working on a team comp building app before that was going pretty well but again, blizzard really likes to expose nothing.
I never thought of that! I could see what’s in the workshop! Didn’t even occur to me cause I’ve never worked with the workshop in just a developer. But that could be cool.
Oh I think stadium isn’t even in workshop though right?
