They finally make a mode that’ll give casual players a chance to earn comp points and it’s a complete joke. It’ll literally take 300 hours to earn a weapon skin at that rate assuming 30 minutes per game and 50/50 winrate

At this point, I am not sure I even care anymore. I wanted Dark Matter Little Guy, but he is pretty cute regardless. He does not need a fancy camo.

Casual players? What do you think this is?

This mode isn’t gonna be any more casual than regular comp, it’ll just have a different skill set required.

You can’t even lose SR for the first 2 ranks and you intentionally lose less SR per loss for the 2 after that, it’s clearly shooting for casuals

I fail to see how that makes it more casual. Nobody worth their salt is staying in the bottom ranks to begin with, either here or in regular comp.

There’s still ranks to progress towards and people will be trying to do that. With longer matches, winning will be more important than usual because you stand to lose more time by not trying.

On top of that, strategies will be a lot more varied and nuanced since each character has many builds rather than each character just being the character. The fact that it’s comp only should tell you everything you need to know.

You can certainly gave fun without trying super gard, but you could do that in regular comp too. What’s the difference between that and this? The only thing different between comp and quickplay is match length after all.

I was expecting it to be more points than normal comp per win, since the matches will be 2-3 times longer on average. If I want a weapon skin and it’s a choice between 50 hours of normal comp or 100-150 ish hours of this I’d probably just end up playing normal comp even if this mode is more fun. Alternatively, they could keep them at 10 per win but bring back end of season rewards based on rank like we used to have, that was also very motivating.

Technically you shouldn’t get any points as it’s its own thing with its own rewards….not really sure why it would also give you standard comp points (so personally I would be happy that I get any imho)
