Getting put with new players while in pro
they dont break 5k damage even after 4 rounds. I would take 20 min queues if it meant getting people in my skillset or that are at least aware of how the hero they are playing/the game works. simple fix could be adding placement matches or needing 10+ of competitive in order to play stadium.
Not sure what’s the main cause of this matchmaker issue.
Is it the fact that 5-stacking is allowed?
A lack of players overall?
Or do they simply deliberately match different ranks based on the MMR?
Many streamers expressed their discontent with the long queue times at the highest ranks and stopped playing the game mode. It was bad PR for Stadium.
Kinda wish each hero has their own rank. That way when everyone is choosing new heroes they know nothing about, you don’t get stuck with them.
That would mean choosing your hero before being matched with a group, but I’m good with that if it means they’re all on my level.
It’s like quickplay bro, it doesn’t have any matchmaking whatsoever.
Sometimes you get matched with players of your skillrating, sometimes you get matched with people from your rank and sometimes the matchmaker says nahhh screw it and gets you in a game with ai robots, new players and the sweatiest of players altogether.
Don’t think about it, just play and try to win.
Can confirm the matchmaking is non existent, I’ve had awful teammates all day long, not one was near my rank.
Matchmaker for stadium is absolutely abysmal. I’ve seen stacks of Masters-T500 players get matched up against Silver-Diamonds. Needless to say we were 3-0 mercy ruled without our team scoring a single elimination.
The matchmaking makes the mode absurdly frustrating because it doesn’t feel fair to lose progress when matches are that stacked against you.
The irony of this post from a brand new account.
The problem of smurf vs new player in a new account is what’s ruining the matchmaker.
between mixing soloQ & teamQ, bad MM and actual cheaters no one should ever take comp seriously just have fun while trying to win dont get salty over losing. i say this because its been decades and games dont care to address these things im sure it actually helps retention in the grand scheme of things even though you would think people would quit but ultimately they dont they deal with the bad conditions and just complain about it.
