Stadium Lag - Players teleporting, actions not occuring

Hi all,

In Stadium specifically, ever since the launch of the mode, my games will eventually deteriorate into a constant lagfest with players teleporting through walls/floors, actions not occuring in real time then rapidly occuring a second later. This does not happen at all in any other mode, only stadium, and in about 50-75% of my games so not all the time.

Is this happening to anyone else? Has it been observed by the devs? Any fixes? Note: my internet is completely fine (no packet loss, connected via ethernet), and is confined specifically to stadium.

my games having this same issue

I always have 40-80 ping (for west/east coast). Every stadium game has players are teleporting, running through walls, or falling through floors.


Here is a screenshot where I was healing my DVA, who jumped and then fell through the floor:

^ This shows 0 packet loss in or out, 80 ms of latency, 170 fps, 56 IND.

No other OW modes, (nor other first person shooter games) have this problem. The time it took for the DVA to fall in my game recorder footage was between 1/3 and 1/2 of a second… which would ONLY be expected if I had 333-500 ms latency.

Btw, it seems to come in bursts… Even though 95% of the match can feel regular enough, that 5% of the time gets me or other people killed and ruins the entire match for me.

If this needs any additional information in order to get escalated as a bug report, I can save logs, videos, etc.

It is extremely reliable and reproducible; I don’t mind helping out if it means I’d get to play Stadium in a stable way again.

I’m curious does this happen every game for you or only ones with Moira’s using the orb build? Or when there’s excessive visual clutter? I’m only asking because the same thing is happening for me and I’ve noticed it happens more when Moira’s are using the orb build.
