Stadium is awesome but Zarya and Mei

Zarya is in every game and dominating, and things have gotten even worse in Stadium mode. Her builds and the character herself urgently need to be nerfed. Playing this character shouldn’t be this easy. Mei has gained unnecessary mobility in Stadium mode as well. These issues need to be addressed urgently.

I hate Mei ball thing. Frustrating to deal with this mini tank.

Zarya and Cass are the outliers IMO.

Zarya is stupid strong by too wide of a margin with her survivability and damage, and Cass just 2 taps no matter what. Your sustain build doesn’t matter. He two taps through 600HP and damage resistance.

I’ve only played one match of Stadium so far and it went all seven rounds.

We won the first round, they won the next three, then we won the final three. It was me, a Zarya, vs their Zarya.

By the final round, it was so difficult to kill anyone (let alone, figure out when it’s ‘safe’ to move in). You’d have to double and in some cases triple team a single enemy hero to get them to die. Meanwhile, who knows what all is going on around you lol

Yeah. IMO the problem is that Zarya and Cass can basically do what other tanks can do on the 6th or 7th round, by round 2 or 3. And it’s a lot. :sob:

Mei is literally a second tank, except better because she has invulnerability and walls, which lets her ignore a lot of the scaling the enemy DPSes get lategame.

Not only that, but that lets her spec into damage, so it’s not just a second tank, it’s a tank and DPS in one. Mei’s team has 2 tanks and 6 players worth of numbers.

I have played 10 stadium games so far, half of them had Meis. If a team had a Mei and the other didn’t, the team without Mei lost every single time in my anecdotal experience.

Her ice ball thing is like Orisa jav spin that lasts longer, except you can’t even Dva boost out of it, you can’t shoot her in the back, you can’t beam through it and you can’t hit her with an AoE either.
