So I usually play with my friends on stadium comp and for good reason.. Tell me why I was almost at all-star 2 and then I get people that have NEVER played stadium before or even touched it on my team??
This has been an issue since last year as well, I have been stuck as all-star these past few seasons because if I play by myself rest assured I WILL get bronze, novice, (or people that have never played stadium before apparently) players on MY team. And the fact I get gaslit from strangers saying stadium comp isn’t serious is ridiculous ITS COMP FOR A REASON THERE IS A TOP 500 CATEGORY.
I play stadium comp and have almost reached legend and top 500 so many times but if we don’t have a full lobby (we are all all-star rank atp), GOD FORBID, we will get someone in bronze or novice that will mess it up for us but yet we can’t queue with people that are below elite??? Tell me how that makes ANY sense. And I NEVER see any type of notice on this or any attention on the issue or if they will ever fix it.
How has stadium comp been around this long and ya’ll have never fixed this issue?? I genuinely don’t understand blizzard bro. More obsessed on fixing cosmetics than comp matchmaking.

MMR and ranks in stadium are not aligned. So the rank of who you match with is a bit irrelevant.
Because you’re not matched based on rank. You’re matched on MMR.
Stadium rank is more of a ladder abd not really useful for match making.
Even so, the players i get teamed up with are so bad you would think they were bots. Even if it isn’t about ranks i should still be matched with people that are the same skill and not brand new to the game (came back after 10 szns) and quit halfway through because stadium is too overwhelming because they haven’t played since ow2 came out and they wanted top give it a try again in comp for some reason.
I fear if it’s based off of MMR they should still know what they are doing. Which is why I made the post. Even without ranks, if I have won 30 games this season and they haven’t played/ won a single one they shouldn’t be on my team. Especially with how long stadium games go and I spend 40-50 minutes and win a game just to get paired up with someone who sucks and the game lasts 15 minutes and the previous 40-50 mins go down the drain because there is no comp, then what is the point in it being comp?
It’s very frustrating because even with MMR in the mix it still makes no sense. I bring in their ranks into play because usually when their rank is low this late into the szn its for a reason USUALLY. not saying every time but I’m sure u know what I mean.

They are in the same MMR as you. Which means they’ve shown roughly the same ability to win matches as you.
Bad games happen. They aren’t worth dwelling on.
goodness how silly to crop a part of what I said and respond to that part only instead of everything I said and ignoring the fact of that would mean all of my teammates are having a “bad game” for multiple games in a row (all different ppl btw)? don’t even comment if your not gonna comment on all of what I’m saying and only cherry picking the fact that I called them bots.
