Ana’s stadium powers and items aren’t fun and transformative.
Other characters get mini-ultimates, extra ability charges, transformative movement, etc; and a lot of abilities that strengthen their weaknesses. Ana’s Sleep and Bionade just don’t scale, compared to the competition.
Also, healing in general feels terrible because there is so much anti-healing. 20% from DPS passive and 30% from items. Where is the item that reduces the enemy’s DPS by 30%? Or attacks that hit for 10% of target’s current or max life?
I thought the purpose of Stadium was the ability to adapt… but I don’t see many tools in Ana’s toolbox. Some powers are actually nerfs, like Tactical Rifle and Dreamy, because they allow allies to get in the way of your offensive abilities.
Please make Ana more viable and fun. Kiriko gets double cleanse, Juno is hitting everyone with torpedoes, Moira is throwing out 3 healing+damage orbs, Mercy is moving around like crazy, and Lucio’s… I haven’t seen any, but I’ve heard their win % is the highest…

It’s because Anas default powers are so broken to begin with they can’t make them too easy or obnoxious otherwise Ana would just be a free win character.
Also they do have damage reduction abilities/ skills, what do you think armor health is? Ana has a jump dash upgrade you can afford the second round that lets you avoid death and keep up with mobile heros I reccemond

Not sure if Ana is even worth playing in Stadium short of getting the one win with her for MVP title.
Kiriko, Juno, and Moira seem leagues better. Especially Kiriko who can just cancel her out completely.

30% weapon power on a support weapon?
Ana is one of the weaker Stadium character picks due to lack of scaling and minimal auto-aim. She would need more AoE heal / damage / sleep options to get bettering utility to match other Stadium support upgrades.
But that’s not really what’s happening. They indeed made sleep easier, with a much larger hitbox and an AoE effect.
Their current approach is mainly about making things easier and/or stronger instead of making them working differently.
She needs piercing shot item or power. Goes through and through regardless.

Yeah, Ana feels weak in Stadium, but I dunno what the Mets build is. She feels so strong in normal OW though.
If I play Ana I go full dps build with the headshot power
In a pinch the big weapon power lets you heal your team very quickly and get back to shooting
Headshots with no falloff on enemy support can very quickly swing a fight in your teams favor and it’s generally safe to do, just watch out for dps flanks because you literally can’t do anything to win the fight save for sleep dart (reaper and genji will violate you in stadium)
Ana mains when their crutch is only S tier instead of S+ tier. Pathetic.

the 500% big sleep dart is just silly.
We’re good on this actually

Just lost another game against Juno Mercy. How exactly is getting double bombarded by an auto-target skill that heals and damages fair? It’s brain dead!
It forces me to spend 10k to be able to sleep them, while Juno can just invest in more Ability Damage.
And I have to invest in 4k to get the Hanzo-jump skill; which is already built into Juno’s whole kit!
Blizzard. Please balance Stadium. Juno needs more nerfs and I’m certain your data shows it.
Well, Ana can be ok in Stadium with Rein comp. Using high rate of fire build with group nano. It allows your rein to play very aggressive and still survive.Yes, Juno can be annoying, but she cant constanly pumping 200+ hps on tanks like Ana.
Are you saying healing 30% faster competes against Juno’s damage and healing torpedoes which she gets double charges for and can hit her entire spread out team AND my entire spread out team?
I do agree that that is one of Ana’s better powers and team nano. But it’s also tricky because Ana players need to stay closer to their tank to ensure consistent hits and bionades, but without mobility the enemy team can simply charge at you. Especially the tanks which are all juiced up dps monsters, that earn more cash by damaging and eliminations.
I like stadium Ana because it’s the only mode where I can play her without feeling like a scrub
have you tried shooting down the juno? I found great success playing sniper ana and making the enemy supports suffer.

Well, Juno’s torpedoes are powerful weapon in late games, but not as good as Ana’ unscoped shots for healing tank. When I play Ana, I usually has twice the heal than Juno, even when Juno has healing perks on torpedo. I usually has abour 25-30% weapon boost on Ana, and about 15-50% fire rate buff from perks, which stacks with 30% fire rate from the power, and its very fast, I rarely need to use nade to heal, and 3 group nano per round is not uncommon. I also has about 400hp, and my nade can give me green hp, so surviving unusually is not very hard, especially when Im healing, and stacked my fire rate, its very useful to fight against flankers, because not only its fast, it also has twice the projetile size.
Dare I say Ana is probably one of the more balanced Stadium characters? lol.
The issue is not that Ana is weak, she isn’t, it’s that other supports are so much better in comparison. They can spec into survival or mobility whilst still retaining good healing/dps/utility, whereas Ana has to make an actual choice. Ana excels in the first 2 rounds due to how impactful most of her powers are, but once other support builds come online they simply have more value.
Go full attack power, but you are deleted by someone looking at you. Or go full survival and your healing late game is useless, due to scaling. This is actually healthy and in an ideal world how it should be for every character IMO.
However, nerfing the rest of the supports is not the answer and will create more issues than it solves, but you can’t buff Ana either because her 100% anti-heal can be too oppressive without Kiriko present.
Solution: Nerf nade anti-healing to something like 50% from her base kit and give her some form of mobility on cooldown to compensate. As more mobility/dive heroes get added to the roster, Ana will become less and less relevant unless they re-distribute her power from her nade anti-heal.
At the moment you only really have Genji/Reaper who can be a problem in the backline, wait until Sombra, Tracer, Winston, Doom get added and you miss your sleep dart.
