Every quick play game I run into the same stacks of people openly cheating in this game. It wouldn’t be so bad if they didn’t get to mass report me for beating them so now my account endorsement level is reset so I can’t communicate with my team. Because hey…lets just put in a system that is easily exploitable while ignoring the need for an anti cheat that actually does its job.
I really feel for anyone who gives this garbage game any time anymore. Any legitimacy it had washed away with S9 and it has only gone downhill since then.
You cant avoid stacks, you cant avoid crossplay ximmers, the anti cheat doesnt work. But if you speak in game you will get banned. Yet another day reminded why this game is in the state it is in.

I feel you man. Perhaps we get the same luck in lobbies but nearly every game I’m going against a coordinated cheater stack. In ranked. On console even. Yeah.
The xim and all its cheating magic is literally everyone plat and up I guess. Gold is a mixed bag but even then. I know what you’re talking about brother and it does suck. I really don’t play much anymore cause it’s every game when I play now. Tons of cheating duos.

He should record it vertically on his cellphone just so that the people asking for codes refuse to watch the footage.

Biggest cheaters are devs themselves. Which is why they hid this users post: https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/overwatch/t/damage-values-are-being-manipulated/929025. Devs automate the manipulation of damage and heal output of entire teams by way of developer sabotage, to impair your ability to compete. Predetermined victors. Artificial outcomes. Which is why players will find that they can always laser just fine in practice range, WITH heroes FULL normal damage output. However, outside of practice range, the fraud begins. Which means all stats are fictitious until rigging fully deactivated.

Yes known facts. Some matches i dont even aim and land headshots, some i hit directly headshots and nothing registers.
Like i am 2 meters away from reihardts charge path and still getting sucked in somehow.

which would explain no bonuses. in what universe can you rig matches and expect a bonus: only in blizzard world would such a misplaced expectation be imagined.

I observed a POTG with what looks like an aimbotting Ashe the other day. Like any other prudent player, I don’t do text chat anymore – I just do the occasional report quietly these days.
I think there has been an uptick in cheaters recently, I really don’t understand what sort of personal satisfaction these players have for cheating in a casual game like OW. The recent feature in another FPS game to turn cheaters into frogs – if Blizzard can do something like this in OW, it would be great fun!
Not since the last ban wave. Most, or all, of the bots are gone along with the bot hosters. Some cheaters also went with them, but of course you’ll still run into the lame cheater now and then; had 2 in the last week i was on using a crappy aimbot that was way too obvious. The funny part was, they still couldn’t aim to save themselves even with the cheats.
Actually not fair, because they said they were silenced, not banned.
The guy who said they were banned is just making up facts to fit reality to their narrative.
