So, Blizzard, when you finally pay attention to sr system? First things is penalties, why people who leaving intentionally and those who simply disconnected receives same penalty? i just got kicked out of game, manage to return less than in minute, won game and got damned -50 sr. Really? I got penalty when blizzard server error happened, so blizzard lames and im the one to blame in it?
And in general, whole sr system should be reviewed. SR is personal thing, not team based, so why not put certain amount of sr into game pool and then 6 best players, depending on stats, medals, cards received got positive sr and 6 others got negative and win or lose of team just adds or subtracts some amount. That could be fair and that could solve smurf problem in game.

I agree there should be different penalties. While I don’t think disconnects should be tolerated they are not intentional.
Intentional leaving should lose you more maybe 100 SR. Successful reports should only amplify that to maybe 200 SR. You can bring the argument of people just smurfing but they will throw regardless.

This is not the right way, it would only help to derankers. I would use more severe time bans.
There is no way to tell the difference between an intentional disconnect and a genuine one, that is why they are punished the same as an intentional leave

Well yeah but isn’t that good? People who leave early and get games canceled cause less harm imo.
Why? Obviously less people get salty and quit the game.
Also if people need less games to throw from what ever rank they are to bronze you will have a lower chance of getting those derankers.

the game is full of drunks these days so you need more luck than skill to climb.

SR system should look at what i did in the game if i was so good compared to everyone in the game mean i am much better i should gain massive SR if we win or lose no SR if we lose.

You are only considering how it affects you personally instead of the community as a whole
SR modification is, objectively, a disaster. It is easily abused and HELPS derankers and people who want to manipulate their SR artificially
There’s a reason they added SR reduction for a leaver last season, then removed it.
if it is not the only solution then must be many solutions then we need the smartest and fastest one.
also as you point some problems its alright there is many fixes for it. they put Ai to play comp with us so its not hard for them to have anti manipulating things.
the luck should have 0 effect in your SR. no luck allowed to make you gain or lose SR only your skill.

The Skill Rating (SR) system is meaningless because of Match Making Rating (MMR), which is a handicapping system.
