“oh you’re stuck at your rank because you belong there(diamond)” makes new account WOW look at that i placed 500 sr above my main. cmon blizzard please just reset our mmr after every season

placing higher doesnt mean you belong there, you should already have some knowledge about this at your rank…

i’ve managed to be consistently masters on my new account though.
But your message looks like you were just placed so why are you now talking how you are consistently master? Not to mention your level is 13. Why are you not posting from your master account? Can you? because somethings tells me you could be lying.

If you’re bronze then make a new account you’ll be initially placed higher then drift/drop down. I do agree more accounts should be placed in bronze rather than forced into gold.

Yes. That’s how the skill rating system works. I have 7 accounts in masters, a new account I just made a couple weeks ago placed gold, I recently hit diamond, and in just 2 days, I climbed to masters. If you’re supposed to climb, you will climb.
Invest 40 hours on that account, as well as your main account, and see if you stay 500 SR above your main.
Then you risk players with multiple accounts throwing their places again and climbing from bronze to masters/GM all over again, ruining the matchmaking experience for everyone inbetween. That wouldn’t be fun for anybody.
Placements already do a bit of a soft reset anyway, I’ve had accounts go 4-6 during placements, but I start the new season 250 SR higher than my previous career high.
