SR loss / gain is unbalanced to me

Hey there. I’m a silver player, main dps. My winrate is higher than 50% but I can’t really climb because everytime I win I get 20-21 sr, whenever I lose my SR go down by 24 up to 29 per game. I know it’s based on performance but I know for a fact that I’m performing well (see elims, lethal shots, damage, accuracy).
Why is there this gap? Why do I lose more SR than I gain? I’m at 62~% winrate but still I’ve got less SR than my score after placements.
Thanks.

Because the game things you belong lower in rank. That is how rank shift occurs, you gain/lose more/less sr than you did before. You believe winrate has more impact than it does. I’ve climbed with negative winrates.

And why does this happen? How can I change this?

Change it by improving. I have no idea where you are lacking. Most people know deep down, but can’t admit it.

You aren’t performing as well as you think. Those stats you think that prove you’re performing well are pointless. Who cares about gold elims if the kills haven’t secured a push. Lethal shots? Who cares. Focus on dying less and getting impactful kills. Don’t just kill whoever is on your screen. Focus fire with your team. Get rid of their tank, for example, so their healer is exposed.

There are plenty of games where I have done well but still had bronze damage because the tanks had gold/silver. Medals have never meant anything.

Well, all I can do is play more, with more focus  thanks
