SR gains broken? 2 SR for wins

So this is not my main account, but its 4377 on Support. I’m ranking up my tank on this account when I noticed that I only got 2 SR for a win. I was wondering why that was as I had performed well that game, but I just went again. I got 2 SR the next win as well however (2730 -> 2732) and the next game too (2732->2734). Next game 2734->2736. Game after that 2736->2738. You know whats coming next by now, 2738->2740; 2740->2742.
It’s not like it is because of performance based SR either, as I average 17k damage/10 minutes, 23 dmg blocked/10 minutes on orisa, 5,6 elims/life etc.

I’d like to say for the record that I am GM on tank on other accounts, so its not like I cant play tank.

Is this something other tanks that play in plat have as well? Or is this just because my Support Elo is higher

So I basicly need to go 100-0 to get out of plat? Seems fair.

2 SR is the minimum gain. My guess is that your MMR is way below your SR so the system is trying to push your SR down. Regardless, this is broken. The last time this happened (the first launch of season 18) it happened to everybody and Blizzard shut down competitive until they could fix it. I’d suggest posting this to the bug reports forum, and maybe try submitting an actual ticket.

If you actually want to keep testing this, you can record your team’s SR and enemy team’s SR for 10 games or so (as well as your SR changes). With this, I could confirm or deny my hypothesis, and also get some data on whether your MMR is rising as it should.
