Spring into Action! A Deep Dive into Lifeweaver, Overwatch’s Newest Hero

I found the character very interesting, if one day they are going to do another collab with anime and that anime is JoJo, this guy needs to be Dio.

About the skills… and they are not few…

Healing Blossom - I thought it was slow. it has travel time, it has time to charge a full burst, and it makes your character 25% slower. It should be faster to charge or the minimum heal should be higher. And take away that 25%, I don’t even see why that exists.

Thorn Volley - I liked it, reminds me of halo. the only change i would like to see is make more like Bap’s gun, shoot and heal, shoot and heal. you can do the same with different ammo and time. bap’s gun is the perfect example.remove swap weapon.

Petal Platform - I think it will give a new vision on the maps and strategies, new interactions with enemies and allies. Whenever a skill like this comes up it’s interesting to see the results.

Life Grip - The Troll side of this skill everyone is talking about, would like to see some changes to this hijack.

first to confirm the skill there must be “ground in depth” confirmation, so it can be used on a high place as long as there is ground below. An example is hollywood second point, on the bridge you could use skill, even the ground is far below.Illios well, it has no ground, so the skill does not work.I believe it should be the floor confirmation 30m down and 1m forward.

second is the moment of movement. I think the movement priority should be the target’s, not the user’s. for example if a Winton jumps, even if the skill is used, the direction must be respected is the jump, then the skill. Ex Gibraltar, Winton first jump, Lifeweaver uses the ability , Winton follows with the momentum of the jump and lands, then gets pulled back. Obviously respecting the skill’s time limit and distance, if this happens the ability breaks. (it would work like a Zarya bubble that pulls you in when it lands.)

Third is not a confirmation for the skill, because that would be time consuming, and OW is a fast game, but a confirmation to break the skill if you are being kidnapped. You are Winton, but you doesn’t want to be pulled, you sees the bubble around and you have a way to break (like crouching breaks the ability), or in case you wants to break before reaching Lifeweaver.

Rejuvenating Dash - a skill that seems to be kind of weak. it doesn’t have great mobility, it doesn’t have much healing, it doesn’t have invulnerability frames,
don’t have cleanse. The only thing I thought was good was the low CD. I have to play to see how good or bad she is, I would prefer it to be two charges, but a bigger CD, but I think it would make her very strong. The problem is that Lifeweaver has a giant hitbox and doesn’t have a way to heal himself besides the dash (25 and the support passive) which shows this character has to play from far away and run away a lot (which for Kiriko is easy, but for him it is more difficult)

Tree of Life - This one I’m interested to see if the interaction with Kitsune.

Parting Gift - This is kinda weird. heal 250 to an ally, ok I think that’s a bit much but lets see. Now 75 for the enemy? why a skill that helps the enemy? Lifeweaver is a little sus, amoong us, troll abilities and heals enemy when feeds? i think this skill was supposed to poison the enemy, not heal.

I think he’s going to be a high ceiling character and a super fun character to play. I don’t know if he will be the best support in the game, but those who specialize in it will be very strong, will be like Doomfist Zbra, Symmetra steevooo, fitzyhere Sombra, a monster.
