All I wanted was waverider dva, spent 50$ still didn’t get her, then spent another 10$, nothing; only got 2180 currency. I should have use that 60$ to by some food. This is so unfair, I just want 1 skin.

Even if you wanted one skin you could have just saved up the coins for it instead of wasting money on the lackluster event. I wish i could say i feel bad for you, but you did it yourself knowing its RNG based
Ahh
That’s twice in a row that I’ve failed to understand a post here haha
Anyways, spending $60 on an online game for a skin you may or may not get, and you know that you may or may not get it, is a questionable decision, at best
I used to do this too OP. Here’s what you do: don’t buy lootboxes. Save your credits, and the next year the event rolls around… THEN you buy it for 1000 credits. It’s a bit of a wait, but it doesn’t cost $50, and who knows? Maybe something better will come out next event.
I feel for you bud! I grinded a whole lot this time around and I’ve gotten more non event legendaries than anything! After my first 7 boxes this event Ive been getting on average 30 coins per box.
Luckily even with that Ive outright managed to buy the Ana skin and a few other things, If you play the game enough inbetween events you absolutely will not need to spend real money. If your not playing it enough to have enough coins you need to ask yourself if paying real cash is worth it?
It’s not nothing. Go do some QM and earn some loot boxes. 20,000 xp per loot box. You have 5 days until the event closes, and thanks to the 2180 coins you accumulated, you need 820 more for the item you like.
For perspective, one Legendary chest will give you 500 coins. You got this. Don’t give up!
Yeah. At the very least, you know you can get this years skins next year for 1000 credits. When OW launched we didn’t even know if the skins would return, let alone that they would be sold at a discount. If i has known that, I wouldn’t have been so keen to spend $50 on each event… and we had tons of duplicates too. I got 3 of the Torb skins in a row (IN A ROW) during the lore event. Nothing makes you feel like you p**** away a lot of money on a bunch of nothing like spending that amount and getting only the same f tier hero skin over and over. The lootboxes basically devalued themselves by not providing any incentive to buy them due to the sheer number of duplicates.
You do realize the odds are stacked against us. You are not guaranteed anything no matter how much you spend. Save that money for a new game coming out soon that’s better worth your time then gambling for skins.
