Cross play and cross progression should’ve been added ages ago.
I know “but pc players would just destroy console players”
But other games have figured out ways to fix or at the very least are addressing the issue. Blizzard is avoiding it and in doing so falling behind their own competitors.
Thoughts?

I don’t want crossplay for Overwatch. It would be not fair matching k&m vs controller.
And the pc cheaters…
Noooooo thanks

Crossplay wouldn’t work in a game like Overwatch
Heck, it hardly works in Dead by Daylight. You have SUCH a massive advantage as the killer if you’re playing with Mouse/ Keyboard it’s not even fair
na get controller players out of here with their aim assist, it’s a big problem with Destiny 2 and Halo
No thank you.
Unless it will allow you to use KBM on console, then I don’t want it
DBD isn’t really super aim intensive except for maybe two characters and even then the hitboxes are huge. I can’t see it working with OW.
Doesn’t this highlight the difference though? Even in a game that isn’t aim intensive, there is a big difference
Cross progression yes, Crossplay no
Not really.
Most allow the feature to be enabled or disabled, very few go as far to address the imbalance, the few that try don’t get very far.
At least in many of those games, chaos is the primary balancing factor. Overwatch is very controlled and mechanical, unlike CoD/Fortnite which are sporadic and random.
Crossplay wouldn’t be a good idea without strict enforcement systems in place.
Crossplay would be fine in all venues except quick play and competitive. You want to do some random arcade mode or custom game from a console vs PC, sure, but not in normal games.
I really don’t want crossplay at all. But 1 thing is for sure, Competitive should not be cross play.
well I mean, we can assume ow2 will have crossplay between ps4 and ps5, and also between xbone and xboxxx
and then years later have crossplay between all consoles. buy even then I don’t see crossplay between ow console and pc ever being fair and doable (or needed?)
