Soundquake in d.va's room?

So you have been visiting d.va’s room on the Busan map during the PTR, you may remember that the screen in her room looked like this:

However, slightly before the live launch, it was changed to this for some reason:

(if anyone knows korean, feel free to share what it says on the screen)
which on the other hand highly resembles this character (mostly known as soundquake)


Apparently he was originally supposed to be Rein but with numbani motives but is highly possible that he is redesigned again.

And no, he is not “Beast” either:

So a hint for a new hero or something else?

I wonder if all 5 mechs forms Voltron… I mean Soundquake or something.

That bottom picture is beast. D.mons mech. The 2nd to bottom might be soundquake? Not sure. I wasn’t sure which picture that comment was reffering too. So I thought I would say that

yes, I know. I added it to show that it is clearly not Beast.

But if it is not any of the mechs then what even that thing is? Just a game? if it is a training program, it surely woudl have included some of the existing mechs instead.

It could just be a game. Maybe it’s a game made about a hero. I don’t think it’s training simulations though because the actual room for that is the the other spawn. Since she’s a gamer I would say it was the game she was playing.

I thought it is probably the game that she is pro at but the thing is, this “game” is nowhere to be seen other than in her room.

The PC club has some flight simulators so at first I though it was that but then they added that one screen which can only be seen in her room.

It just makes me wonder why is that screen so important to deserve its own artwork.

Or what if the Korean government lied about using drones and used one mech instead to fight the Kishin Omnics and it lost. The pilot was never found so they decided to cover it up and made meka.

If this is another cc character that would not be good, but…
If it was some sort of sonic boop that would be cool but Lucio has that.

Idk why that character is even called that. Those are the images that usually appears when googling the name. Probably it will use another name if ever comes to the game.

Possibly its a hint to hero 29 so it could be Soundquake. And because Blizzcon had Talon reveals so far, maybe Soundquake is a Blackwatch/Talon tank.

Yes the kid it the trailer talked about him like a hero but its possible that Soundquake is a “from hero to a villain” character like Reaper.

I dont know korean but it looks like a game menu. Is it possible that the selected option is “select character” or “career profile”?

From top to bottom it is close to the Overwatch menu.
On top it says “Play”, then “Profile” and “Social” and so on…
Even the layout of the menu is the same.
