So.....this patch huh?

Between Sigma and Brigs changes, I have no bloody clue which one was a worse call to make, but I have become convinced of one thing. They do not actually test this stuff. They just can’t. I refuse to believe they looked at that flux change and said ‘looks good’ and meant it, their just tossing stuff at the wall and hoping it sticks.

They’ve entirely lost the plot.

I swear they must have broken Sigma’s ult and called it a change lol. Why is it okay to hit people on the other side of a wall? x_x Might as well let Orisa and everyone else do that (I guess technically Zarya did already)

The flux is one I genuinely do not understand.

At work, can’t yet comment without playing

They have lost their minds. Sigma wasn’t even a poorly performing tank! And yet he needs a broken change like this for his ult?

What’s wrong with the Brig buff? I feel it makes bash feel less clunky

I can’t say for Sigma since I haven’t played him since the early seasons.

The justification for bringing back the burst on it makes no sense for one. ‘Oh everyones health is higher.’

SO? The entire point was to lower burst damage, not wean it back in after a cup of coffee.

But even barring that, the one bit of skill that Rally took was trying to time it with your bash, now thats gone because the reset is back on it.

The site is melting down so I can’t see the patch notes, can someone give me the full notes?

The patch is mainly designed to fix higher levels of play
Orisa was super effective, Tracer and Sorjourn were running rampant

Sorjourn got a double nerf with this patch, Tracer got reigned it too, aswell Chorizo

I play in the upper side of the bracket. This fixes NOTHING long term. In the short term it might arguably be worse. All it’s done is slightly shift which side of the ‘broken’ wheel is leaning towards.

I cared so little about that patch I didn’t even notice how stupid this justification is :joy:

I think the IDEA is to reduce instances where it gets clipped by some random geometry that blocks los. I don’t think that happens very often I’ve played a lot of sigma and can’t remember the last time it has so idk. Making it go through full walls is insane. I think I’ve had my ult negated by tree more often than I have by random geometry which is completely fair

‘People are complaining about the horse being too strong’

‘Oh so we need to make someone else more broken to shake it up? How about Sigma?’

In my head? That’s exactly how these guys sound to me now.

I think that is the intention but it makes it very strong. I also wonder if they’re making all “gravity” abilities more consistent with affecting players through walls.

It is a “consistency” change with Zarya’s ult, yeah. Gravity and all, thoigh they don’t really function similarly besides the theme

Personally I would’ve preferred the consistency swing the pther way and make Zarya’s not work through walls

Here ya go.

I’m really mad that they removed Weaver’s counterplay to Sigma’s ult outside of grip. It was fun and took a fair bit of skill and quick reflexes

But Brig’s change is fine, sorry. Refraining from using bash as a basic mobility tool because we might need the stun in rally to counter a blade or something was not cool at all. Brig needs the bash mobility to survive and get to where she needs to be

They gave a struggling support a minor buff. It’s not that big of a deal.

GOATS PTSD is real. Any buff of Brig is met with howls that she is overpowered.
