Making it real hard to post videos of bugs, Blizzard.

I think you have to earn a certain amount of trust first

Ok, so it doesn’t work for me either.

you must prove yourself to the dev gods to earn their powers. a sacrifice is usually required.

You can game the system by quoting it.

(A loophole I expect will get patched out pretty quickly!)

I’ve dug myself so deep already so I don’t count on getting any special privileges from Blizzard.

I think it’s to avoid bots placing links to viruses on the forums.

I’m sure once you get your trust up, it’ll let you place a direct link.

Try to describe the bug, and then do that a couple of times until you’ve earned their trust :^)

A current workaround to post links is to highlight a link and click the button that looks like this;

[</>]

People will have to copy and paste the link manually (it won’t be a proper hyperlink that’s clickable) but it ensures that your post goes through to the forums.

we have a genius here !

does it works with gif and pictures?

Thanks.

It’s a fantastic link, btw.

Well it won’t render them inline, but as far as putting a clickable link in the post:

Remember, this is launch week. Give it time! Once everything is comfortable they’ll most likely add it.

Yeah I agree. There is no way this is permanent… also, where did my underline go???

How exactly do I track “trust”? Where’s the reputation bar?

Good one LMAO, gave me a good laugh. The hero we needed

You earn trust by using the forum constructively but I don’t know where you can see how much trust you’ve earned

You mean this?

This is nice for when it’s important but i’m not sure blizz is gonna like people bypassing their system… I don’t think they’ll do anything drastic without warnings but just putting this out there. I doubt they’ll do anything about videos of bugs though.
