wooooo another event where doing challenges awards an old skin that a significant player base has. Seriously just rename each event cash grab 1/2/3/4. Now I’m not saying that they shouldn’t monetize the game, of course they should its there IP, but come on blizzard atleast make it where we earn premium currency for playing the event (doing challenges) and extra coins if we unlock the event skin and already have it. give us some incentive to play the events cause right now there is nothing that makes me wanna log in and spam games like in OW1. there is nothing that makes me want to spend my money like Ow1 did.

It honestly just feels like they’re doing events only to give new players old ow1 skins…
The only thing i’m gonna do is play for the keychain & player title, i’m not gonna waste money on that mei skin.
I eish they could do something better with the shop, because it honestly sucks, i who is an ow1 player already have all ow1 stuff and it sucks seeing that ow1 stuff is being used in these events…Sure i get it but can we give cosmetics for older players??
It would be nice like you said if they could give us more coins in events, because that would actually be a good thing since we basically don’t earn much in the weekly challanges.
They really need to do something about their poor handling with events, because it sucks!

Even the cash grab is bad. It is like 2 skins. 1 is just epic and the other one isn’t even themed.
Play them if you enjoy them. Otherwise, just skip. The rewards generally aren’t worth your time.
I feel like that’s a recurring (and worrying) theme of this game in general. It used to be fun and rewarding. And while some people are having fun in one-sided 5v5 stomps on Push, for me it stopped being fun months ago. And I don’t know many people that would argue the game is rewarding in any real way nowadays.
