Someone's experience of an unfair decision?

Hello, I read a couple of hours ago a message from GM exactly saying “I made sure to fully review all the information given by our specialist team and I can inform you they have confirmed the evidence that this account was involved in the usage of third-party programs. These programs create unfair advantages and are considered a direct breach to our term of use and agreement. Your account closure will have to remain as it is. Bear in mind that no further appeal will be considered.”

I’m flattered that Blizzard’s specialists have marked my skills in this way, and I will continue to write tickets and request to show them my gameplay in real time. However, I’m curious if anyone else has faced this situation before? I created two accounts later, but they were banned using the same name until I changed it to a new one. I’m not sure how long that one will last either.

Yes, 100%. Many MVPs have suggested to keep creating tickets until you get a hard no.

Yeah, you are right. I got a warning about the future termination of my Battle.net account if I continue harassing their customer service. I have spent almost a decade playing the game since beta, and because of salty players, I was flagged as a cheater. Now it’s me who harasses them and not the other way around. It doesn’t matter, though, if they treat older players like me like this, who have been playing only this game for years, nobody is safe from their reporting system. I was patient with everything Blizzard has changed, which I don’t like as widow main, but I stayed because of my legacy, like Noir skin. A million new heroes, unkillable tanks, an unbalanced selection of players in qp and comps, and so on, including that shiny reporting system, which is abused by literally everyone, and not a single soul is responsible for false reports.

Amazing experience, let it be a lesson for others before putting in any effort into this game. I was afraid to even use the chat anymore, because people are insulted literally by anything, and it was my first warning bell. I can’t say this game is dead yet, but as a former loyal fan, it’s time for me to move on I think.

Thanks for the games Blizzard, and godspeed in the future.
